At the trailhead , Maureen, our able leader, assembles the group and gives instructions
We followed a delightful stream and we could hear the water
The trail was nice, shaded and easy walking (for the most part).
There were a couple of nice bridges
After about two miles we arrived at the very spectacular waterfalls
After seeing the falls we hiked a few miles to a beautiful lunch spot near the river
Joyce found a big and dangerous teeter Totter in the river. Danger does not deter Joyce.
Maureen talks to the hikers about the hike back after lunch
On the way back the group stops at a lookout for an unorganized group picture
It is easy to find Joyce and Gary with a smile on their face
The trail back was through a wonderful forest with old growth trees
This is the trail we followed
This shows were we hiked
